Security and your data

You are about to hand somebody your inbox.

So the honest version, in plain words, before you do. Most companies tell you your data is safe with them. We would rather hand you the map and let you decide.

Where your data actually lives

Your account lives in Europe. Your voice doesn't, not yet.

Most companies say your data is safe with us. We'd rather hand you the map.

EU

In the EU

Your profile, tasks, messages, and call notes live in Postgres databases in Ireland and Frankfurt. That's where your account sits at rest.

US

In the US, today

Call audio and transcripts are processed and stored by ElevenLabs, our voice provider, in the United States. European voice residency is one of their enterprise features. We're working toward it and don't have a date to promise yet, so we're not going to pretend we do.

A few other things pass through the US on the way to your EU record without staying there: our hosting, and the Claude models that draft replies, which are never used for training and are deleted within 30 days.

If Swiss data residency specifically matters for your own compliance review, tell us. We'd rather talk it through than guess what you need.

The two things we will not do.

We do not sell your data.

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anybody.

We do not share it for marketing.

Not ours and not anybody else's. What you hand your assistant is used to do your work.

You will notice this list is short. Everything on it is something we have checked and can be held to, which is why there is no line here about nobody ever being able to see anything.

Who can see your conversations.

Your assistant works with your information and nobody else's, and members never see each other's data. Being straight with you: a small Airmond team can also reach member data through an internal admin tool, because that is how we run the service, look into a call that went wrong, and help when you write in. Our providers can reach what they process for us, under their own agreements.

Who has access, in detail

Having it all deleted.

Write to hello@airmond.com and ask, and we delete your account and the data we hold about you. A person answers that address. You can also ask for a copy of everything we have, or ask us to correct something. Backups and provider logs roll off on their own schedules, so it is not always instant, but the rule is simple: ask us and we do it.

How deletion works

If your compliance review needs more than this.

Tell us what you need to see and we will answer it directly, including the questions we do not have a comfortable answer to yet.
